Successful PCI to LAD using DES Report Y. M. A.Elghaney

Percutaneous Coronary Intervention Report

Clinical Background:    
She has recurrent chest pain of few months duration. Known to be hypertensive. Not known to be diabetic. Not smoker.    
   
Target Lesion:    
LAD    
   
Procedure:    
Premedication: Sedatives, anti-allergic, the anti-ischemic and dual antiplatelets drugs.    
Approach: Right femoral approach using short femoral sheath 6F.    
PCI to LAD: XB Guiding Catheter (6F – 3.5) cannulate LM.
Runthrough Hypercoated GW was passed the lesion and parked distally.
Ryujin Plus balloon (1.5mm x 15mm) was inflated at the site of the lesion then inflated at 14 atm.
EucaLimus DES (2.25mm x 18mm) was centralized at the site of the lesion and inflated at 16 atm.
Final angiogram shows TIMI flow grade III without residual stenosis or edge dissection    
Contrast media: 100 cc of Optiray 300.    
Hemostasis: Manual compression after 6 hours of the procedure.    
Complications:    Non    
   
Conclusion and Recommendations:    
Successful PCI to LAD using DES
